Hide-n-seek is only fun if someone finds you. We all have our favourite emotional hiding places. Internal or external vices used as activities, habits or masks. Meditation: Awareness is Not for the Ambitious (it’s for us lazy folk)

Occasionally my BFF and I discuss “peoples” work ethic vs lazy tendencies. Her view is that most of us are lazy. Occasionally concerned she might be referring to me I usually defend the notion. When someone suggests we’re intuitive, or “have intuition” it’s flattering to think we might have special mind powers–for the moment anyway. But really, all we’re doing in that one flattered moment is comparing our intellect with our perception of what we think might be magical thinking (with maybe some insightful luck thrown in).
